Dhaka – Three bike riders were killed as a covered-van hit the motorcycle they were riding on Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Banu Bazar in Sitakunda upazila in Chittagong on Wednesday night.The victims were identified as Rakib, Jabed and Nayan, residents of Faujdarhat area.The accident took place around 10:15 pm when a Dhaka-bound covered-van hit the motorcycle, leaving two of them dead on the spot and another injured, said Saleh Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Barulia Highway police camp.The injured was taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.UNB
