Dhaka – A schoolboy drowned in a canal of Ashuganj power station on Sunday afternoon.The deceased was identified as Bijoy, 15, son of Alam Miah, a resident of Char Choratola village of Ashuganj upazila, and student of Haji Abdul Jalil High School.UNB agencyFire service sources said that Bijoy along with his friends Rajib and Shah Ali went to the canal for taking bathe around 2.30pm.At one stage, Bijoy was washed away into the Meghna River.Later, divers recovered his body from the river around 4pm.
