Dhaka – Beanibazar municipality is going to the maiden polls on April 25 after nearly 16 years of its formation.The Election Commission on Wednesday announced the election schedule for the municipality after legal complexities regarding its election was over.UNB agencyAccording to the schedule, the deadline for submission of nomination paper is March 27, said Beanibazar upazila election official Syed Kamal Hossain.Immediately after the formation of the municipality, Tafazzul Hossain was appointed its administrator and he has continued his service for long.However, his two writ petitions were rejected by the High Court in January last, paving the way for the election.
