Rajshahi – A day-long workshop on “Campus Journalism”, organized by Rajshahi University Press Club (RUPC), was held at the Deans’ complex of the university on Saturday.Professor Md. Mizanur Rahman student advisor of the university inaugurated the program at 10.00am.
RUPC president Taslimul Alam Towhid presided over the program while its general secretary Emdadul Haque Shohagh moderated it.
Md. Satil Siraj Asst. Professor of Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) department of the university, Ahsan Habib Apu Rajshahi Bureau Chief of Independent Television, Ziaul Gani Salim Rajshahi Bureau of SATV and Daily Jugantor, Tareq Mortuza Senior Reporter of The Daily Independent, Taib Ahmed Senior Reporter of Daily Prothom Alo discussed over the various topics at the function.
About 50 campus reporters including the reporters of Rajshahi College participated in the program.
Certificates were distributed among the participants at the closing session of the program. – RU Correspondent
