T20I: Tigers elect to bat first against Sri Lanka

Dhaka – Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza won the toss and elected to bat first against Sri Lanka in first T20I of their two-match series under floodlights at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Tuesday.The 6th T20I battle between the two nations, since September 2007, is set to be played on an unusually hard surface that might offer some help to the fast bowlers early on, especially if there is a bit of evening dew around.Uncapped fast-bowling all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin has been included in Bangladesh’s eleven to make his debut.In their previous two T20Is against Sri Lanka away from home Bangladesh remained winless in 2007 and 2013.
