Dhaka -At least three people were killed and two others injured in a truck-pickup van collision at Sokholla Morolbari on Mymensingh-Sherpur road under Phulpur upazila of the district in the early hours of today. The deceased were identified as Shaheed, 42, Hridoy, 24, and Idris, 42, residents of Digharkanda village of Mymensingh Pourasabha.
The Mymensingh-bound pickup van carrying chickens from Sherpur collided head on with the truck in the area around 12: 45am, leaving three van riders dead on the spot and injuring two others, said Phulpur Police Station Officer- in-charge (OC) Ali Ahmed Molla.
