Dhaka – Two siblings died and their mother received injuries as a thunderbolt hit them at Kayra village in Sharsha upazila on Saturday night.Quoting locals, police said a lightning strike hit the two siblings — Masud Hossain, 14, and Sabura Khatun, 20 — and their mother when the trio was sitting at their balcony, leaving the siblings dead on the spot and the mother injured.Later, the injured was sent to Jessore Medical College Hospital, said officer-in-charge of Sharsha Bagachra Police Camp Ziaur Rahman adding, a pall of gloom descended the area following the incident.UNB news agency
