Dhaka – Two members of a family were killed and four others injured in a road accident near NarayankulNagdaBridgein the cityon Sundaymorning.Police said the accident took place when a Gazipur-bound CNG-run auto-rickshaw, carrying six members of a family, collided head-on with a truck around8:30 am, leaving Malati Rabi Das and his brother-in-law Suvash Rabi Das dead on the spot and four others injured.The injured were taken toShaheedTajuddinAhmadMedicalCollegeHospital,said sub-inspector Mamun of Salna Highway Police Station adding, the victims, residents of Rupganj upazila of Narayanganj district, were going to Gazipur to attend a marriage ceremony.Police seized the three-wheeler and the truck, the SI added.UNB news agency
