Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu has inaugurated a 4-day exhibition of Bangladeshi films in Kolkata describing films as the force against communal viciousness.
The minister inaugurated the festival as chief guest at Nandan Cinema Hall in Kolkata on Friday evening.
A total of 24 Bangladeshi cinemas, 83 photographs on Liberation War will be exhibited in the festival, which will conclude on January 8.
Inu said “Film is a medium that attracts people with passion, help people to be thoughtful while photography is reflection of contemporary history. The festival and exhibition will deepen the relation between the two countries’, reports UNB.
