Savar (Dhaka), Feb 15 – Prof Dr Farzana Islam has been made Vice Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University (JU) for the second consecutive term.She will serve as the VC for another four years, sources confirmed. But the appointment letter was yet to be received till producing the report.
Dr Farzana is a professor of Anthropology department of the same university.
Earlier on the 2 nd March of 2014, she had taken the charges as the 1 st female Vice Chancellor across the country. – JU Correspondent
