The recovery of the body of an elderly man from Shatrujitpur village in Sadar upazila on Sunday morning has caused police to guess something abnormal behind the death.The body of Mafiz Miah, 70, was found on the bank of a local river.Police said there had been a longstanding rivalry between Mafiz and his stepbrother over a piece of land.Mafiz had gone out of the house on Saturday night and remained untraced since then.On the recovery of the body, a local quarter tried to bury the dead in a hurry without post-mortem, which raised suspicion among police officials.Police suspected that a drama was created after deliberately killing Mafiz.A case was lodged in this connection. -UNB, Magura
