At least 20 people were injured in a clash between two groups of
villagers over a trifling matter at Gobindasri in Bianibazar upazila
on Friday.
Police said an altercation ensued between two villagers, Nasir Uddin
and Dulov Ali, over sleeping inside a local mosque after Juma prayer.
At one stage, two groups—one led by Nasir and another by Dulov—
equipped with lethal weapons attacked each other, leaving 20 people
injured on both sides.
Of the injured, six were rushed to Sylhet Osmani Medical College
