A farmer was killed in a lighting strike at Induar Haor in Chhatak
upazila on Saturday.
The victim was identified as Lalu Mia, 21, son of Karam Ali of Kalipur
village in the upazila.
Locals said a streak of thunderbolt struck Lalu while he was working
on a cropland in the morning, leaving him dead on the spot. His two
buffalos were also killed in the lighting strike. – UNB, Sunamganj
