Two brothers were stabbed to death by some miscreants at Fenchuganj
fertilizer factory bazar in Fenchuganj upazila here Saturday night.
The deceased were Sanu Mia’s two sons- Md Shaheen,18 and his elder
brother Mohammd Shamim,22, of Kachua Bahar village of the upazila.
Shaheen passed the HSC examinations this year.
Police and locals said when Shaheen and Shamim were chatting with some
friends at the market a gang of 10-12 armed criminals swooped on them
and stabbed the two brothers indiscriminately, leaving them injured.
They were rushed to upazila health complex where they succumbed to
their injuries.
Tamal,22, one of their friends who was injured while trying to save
them, was rushed to Osmani Medical College Hospital.
Fenchuganj thana officer-in-charge Shahidur Rahman said they might
have been killed in a planned way following previous enmity. – UNB,
