An adibasi housewife was killed allegedly by her husband at Khitka
village under Nezampur union of Nachole upazila in the district on
Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sabina Hasda, 32, wife of Golap Hasda
of the area.
OC of Nachole thana Sayed Iqbal said, at one stage of exchanging of
heated words between the husband and wife, Golap hit his wife with a
spade injuring her seriously at around 7-30 am. She succumbed to
injury on the way to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Chapainawabganj Sadar
Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police arrested Golap Hasda. Brother of the deceased, Amin Hasda filed
a case with Nachole thana in this connection. –Our Correspondent,
