A female student of Sylhet Agricultural Training Institute allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her dormitory on Tuesday.The deceased was identified as Aklima Akter, 19, daughter of Habibur Rahman of Bokterpur village under Duarbazar upazila of Sunamganj.Police said Aklima, a third year student of Agriculture Diploma Course of the institution, along with three classmates used to reside at Begum Rokeya Hall.In the morning, her roommates went to the academic building to take an examination.After returning at noon, they found the door of the room locked and saw through window Aklima’s body hanging with the ceiling fan and informed police.Police found a chit left by Aklima in the room, which writes ‘None is responsible for my death’.Police later recovered the body and sent it to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. -UNB, Sylhet
