An electrical worker died after he fell from an electric pole at
Bhartokhala in Dakkhin Surma area on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Maruf Ahmed, 20, an employee of a
Sylhet power office and son of Selim Ahmed of Juari village in
Chandian upazila of Comilla district.
Witnesses said Maruf was critically injured after he fell to the
ground slipping off an electric pole while working on it at about
11.00 am.
Later he was rushed to Osmani Medical College Hospital where doctors
