Construction work of the upgraded 50-bed Nageswari Upazila Health
Complex at Taka 9,93,15,416 has begun at Nageswari upazila town in
Kurigram after upgradation from its previous 30-bed capacity.
Lawmaker AKM Mostafizur Rahman formally launched the construction work
through laying down foundation stone at a ceremony as the chief guest
on Friday.
The Construction, Maintenance and Management Unit (CMMU) under the
Ministry of Health and Family Planning has been implementing the
construction work under the ‘Upgradation of Pirganj 31-bed UHC to
50-bed’ project.
The upgradation of Nageswari Upazila Health Complex Pirganj UHC will
help the people of Nageswari getting more Medicare and treatment
facilities at the upazila level, the official said today.
With Mayor of Nageswari pourasabha Abdur Rahman Miah in the chair,
Upazila Heath and Family Planning Officer Dr Moksedur Rahman, Upazila
Secondary Education Officer Dipan Kumar Banik, Vitarband union
chairman Aminul Haque Khandker and Kedar union chairman Wajidul Kabir
