Gazipur – Communications Minister Obaidul Quader on Wednesday said the opposition should join parliament responding to the call of the Prime
Minister and openly discuss the framework of a polls-time government.
“The opposition could not overthrow the government in the last four and three-quarter years. Now, they should join the House and openly
discuss the mode of the election-time government as still there’s a way to resolve the issue,” he said.
The minister was talking to reporters after inspecting the work on the four-lane project of Dhaka-Mymensingh highway and Mirzapur-Masterbari
road.
Obaidul also asked all concerned to ensure so that no cattle market is set up on roads across the country ahead of Eid-ul-Azha for smooth
road communication.
He also said potholes on different highways will be repaired within the next seven days. – UNB
