A woman was killed in a road accident on Magura-Jessore highway in Kechuadubi area of Sadar upazila on Friday. The deceased was identified as Kanchan Bala Das, 50. Details about her could not be known yet.Magura highway police station member Mashiur Rahman said the accident took place on the highway around 3pm when a speedy truck collided head-on with a locally made vehicle, Nasiman, leaving Bala dead on the spot and its driver critically injured.
