A police constable was stabbed to death and three others were injured in an attack by some unidentified miscreants at Tiger Pass in the port
city on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Kayum, a guard of the residence of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police, Chittagong range.Sub-inspector Ansar of Khulshi police station said some armed miscreants swooped on four police constables of the DIG’s residence-Kaiyum, Salahuddin, Arif and Shahbuddi—around 10:45am and stabbed them with sharp weapons, leaving them injured.Kayum succumbed to his injuries on his way to Chittagong Medical
