Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on Friday called on the opposition to withdraw hartal (shutdown) and join the talks.
Joy made the call while he was addressing a rally of Awami League activists at Kabi Kazi Nazrul Auditorium in Sylhet on Friday night. “The opposition leader repeatedly asking to invite her in talks again. I am inviting her now. Withdraw the hartal and join talks accepting my invitation. Hartal and talks can’t go together” Joy said in his speech as chief guest.“BNP-Jamaat again called another 72 hour hartal. Their hartal means arson, vandalism and killings.
