Train communications of Khulna with other parts of the country remained suspended as two bogies of a freight train derailed in Churamonkathi area near Meherullah rail station in Sadar upazila on Monday morning.
Assistant Station Master of Jessore railway station Saiduzzaman said two bogies of a Khulna-bound train from Joypurhat veered off the tracks in the area after leaving the station around 4:00am, halting train services from Khulna with Dhaka and other parts of the country.On information, a salvage train rushed in at 6:00am and started work to clear the tracks. –UNB, Benapole (Jessore),
