Election Commissioner Md Shah Nawaz has indicated that the election schedule may be announced on the first or second day of the next week to conduct polling in early January.“The Commission has completed all the work necessary to hold the election smoothly. Most probably, the schedule will be announced by Sunday or Monday,” he said.
The election might be held in the first week of January though the voting date was not yet finalised, Election Commissioner Nawaz said at his house on Friday.
