Ahad Ali, a convicted prisoner of Meherpur Jail, died of a heart attack at the age of 38 early this morning.
Ali, son of Akhar Ali of Mominpur village under Sadar upazila, felt pain in his chest in early hours of December 13 in Meherpur Jail.
He was rushed to Meherpur General Hospital from jail where he died during treatment in the morning.
The on duty doctor of the hospital said Ahad Ali died of a heart attack.-BSS, Meherpur
