Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her assumption of the office of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh for the third time.
Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh Alexander A. Nikolaev handed over the letter of felicitations of the Russian President to the Prime Minister at her official Gonobhaban residence on Tuesday evening, said PM and Awami League Chief’s Media Adviser Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury.
In the letter, Vladimir Putin extended his sincere congratulation to Sheikh Hasina on her reelection as the Prime Minister saying he is highly satisfied with the existing friendly relations between the two countries.
“Accept my sincere congratulations on your reelection as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh,” the letter reads.
Putin said, “Russia counts on the government formed by you to continue the lines aimed at further increase of mutual beneficial Russia-Bangladesh cooperation in all spheres.”
The Russian President wished good health and all-out successes of the Prime Minister in her office.
