Young girl’s dismembered body found in city

Dhaka – Police recovered a young girl’s body, sliced into two, in the city’s Uttara area on Friday. The victim, aged about 25, was sliced into two pieces and her body parts were found in two sacks behind a six-storey building.Feroz Alam, a sub-inspector of Uttara West Police Station, said local people spotted the two sacks behind the house at road No 20 at sector-14, Uttara at noon and informed them.
Later, a team of police rushed in and retrieved the lower-half of the girl’s body kept in a sack, and the upper-half in another sack.
Feroz said they sent the sliced body parts to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy. – UNB
