Police on separate raids arrested 14 alleged criminals from different areas of five upazilas of the district during last 24 hours till this morning.
Police sources said, the arrested persons included absconding accused, cheats, thieves, accused in different cases and other anti-social elements. Joypurhat Thana police arrested five persons, Panchbibi Thana three, Khetlal Thana two, Akkelpur Thana three and Kalai Thana one person during the raids.The arrested were sent to jail custody in the afternoon. –BSS, Joypurhat
