At least 11 houses were gutted by a devastating fire at Charkalikapur village under sadar upazila on Saturday.The fire was originated from a kitchen of Jobbor Khan of the village and soon engulfed the adjoining houses in the area, sources said.Later, local people rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after two hours of hectic efforts.Affected house owners said the fire burnt down huge valuables. -BSS, Madaripur
