Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a man along with a pistol and two magazines from a market under Khanjahan Ali thana of the city on Wednesday.
The arrestee was identified as Sohrab, son of Surut Ali, a resident of Uttar Bedkashi in Koira upazila of the district.Humayun Kabir, officer-in-charge of Khanjahan Ali Police Station, said a team of RAB halted a battery-run three-wheeler easy-bike carrying Sohrab in the area at about 9:00.The force then recovered a pistol and two magazines searching his bag and arrested him.The arrestee was later handed over to the police station.A case was filed in this connection. -UNB, Khulna
