A total of 20 couples got married without dowry at Kuwait Islami Yatim complex in Gazir Darga area under Jhikargachha upazila here on Friday.
Office sources said Kuwait Relief Committee of Bangladesh arranged the mass marriage ceremony. The weddings of 20 pairs were held there without any dowry.Director General of the relief committee (Bangladesh chapter) Dr Gazi Jahirul Islam was present on the occasion. -BSS, Jessore
