Miscreants torched two Hindu temples in Bagerhat and Jhalakati districts early Friday.
In Bagerhat, several idols of Hindu gods and goddesses were set afire at a hundred-year-old temple at Noapara village in Fakirhat upazila in the early hours.
Locals said they found smoke billowing out the temple when they went to the worship place on Friday morning.
On information, police visited the spot and a case was filed in this connection.
In Jhalakati, a family temple was set ablaze around 3am. -UNB
