Police arrested two alleged terrorists along with a gun and a number of bullets and bombs from Gilabaria village in Sadar upazila on Friday evening.
The arrested were Bishawjit Kumar, 24, son of Nitya Gopal, and Sazzatur Rahman, 23, son of Ajmat Ali of Kacharitola village in Harinakunda upazila.
Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury said a patrol team of police recovered the arms, bullets and bombs after searching the bodies of Bishawjit and Sazzatur at 6.30pm and arrested them.Police also seized their motorcycle.Police said that the arrestees were preparing to commit crimes.A case was filed with Sadar Police Station. -UNB, Jhenidah
