A mobile court here on Sunday sentenced two men to six months’ imprisonment each for peddling drugs.The convicts are Dulal and Mijanur, both residents of Islambag village in Boda upazila.Police said on secret information, a team of police conducted a drive in Jhinuknagar area of the upazila on Saturday night and arrested the duo along with 13 packets of hemp while they were selling the cannabis item.Later, they were produced on Sunday before a mobile court led by executive magistrate Mamunur Rashid which handed down the punishment. -UNB, Panchagarh
