A mobile court unearthed a fake unani factory in Dasherhat area under sadar upazila of the district on Monday.
The court, led by executive magistrate Kamrul Islam Khan, awarded four months jail to owner of the factory so called Hakim Abul Basher for producing adulterated unani medicines in an unhygienic condition in a house in the area since last two years. The court also fined him Taka 10,000.
Being informed, the mobile court raided the house and found that Abul Basher is producing adulterated unani medicine without valid documents.
During the raid in the fake factory, drug superintendent Tanvir Ahmed and members of the law enforcing agency were present.
