55 school buildings constructed in Mymensingh

The government has constructed 55 secondary schools buildings last year in Mymensingh district for providing better education facilities to students.
The buildings were constructed at a cost of Taka 30 crore under direct supervision of engineering department of the Ministry of Education.Officials sources said the buildings were constructed under the Secondary Schools Development project with a view to meeting accommodation problems and other facilities like water and electricity.Executive Engineer Md. Delwar Hussain said that the newly constructed buildings were handed over to the school authorities.Of the total, 3 school buildings were constructed in Haluaghat upazila, 2 in Dobaura, 5 in Fulpur, 5 in Gouripur, 5 in Mymensingh Sadar, 5 in Muktagacha, 5 in Phulbaria, 6 in Trishal, 5 in Nandail, 5 in Gafargaon, 4 in Ishwarganj, and 5 in Bhaluka upazila. -BSS, Mymensingh
