Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized smuggled Indian clothes worth Tk one crore from Rajganj area in Manirampur upazila of Jessore district on Tuesday night.Lieutenant Colonel Jahangir Hossain, commanding officer of BGB Battalion-26, said being tipped off, they launched a drive in the area
at about 10:00 pm.Sensing the presence of the border force, the smugglers fled the scene leaving behind a truck.Later, BGB members recovered huge Indian sarees and three-pieces worth Tk one crore from the truck.A case was filed in this connection. -UNB, Benapole
