Two members of a family were killed as a truck skidded rammed their roadside house at Rajpat in Kashiani upazila on Monday morning.
The deceased were identified as Rashida, 60, and Laila, 7.Sub-inspector Rothin, in-charge of Ramdia police investigation centre, said a sand-loaded truck coming from Kushtia skidded off the road in the area when its driver lost control over the steering, and the vehicle ploughed through a roadside house around 8:00am, leaving two members of the house dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the bodies with the help of local people.The bodies were sent to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. -UNB, Gopalganj
