A mobile court sentenced a schoolteacher to three months’ imprisonment for sexually harassing a female student in the city on Tuesday.
The teacher was identified as SM Nazrul Islam, 43, librarian of Udayan District Police School.Executive magistrate Mashiur Rahman handed down the verdict at about 3:00 pm.Sikta Rani, sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station, said police arrested the convict Nazrul following a complaint from the victim’s family members. -UNB, Khulna
