A moderate earthquake shook different parts of the country, including capital Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet, on Thursday midnight.
However, no casualty or damage was reported during the tremor. The earthquake occurred at 12:14 am and magnitude of the quake was 5.6 on the Richter scale, Met office said. The epicentre of the tremor was located along India-Myanmar border beside Mizoram and the distance of the epicentre was about 350 km from Agargaon Seismic Observatory in Dhaka. -UNB, Dhaka
