Bangladesh has won the fourth ODI too after Zimbabwe made a strong reply with the bat for the first time in the series. They were just 21 runs short and had a great opportunity to record their first win in the series when Taylor and Mire was batting. One more ODI of the series is left for the visitors to avoid whitewash. The pair added 106 runs for the fourth wicket. After the break of that partnership Zimbabwe just scored 69 runs in the next 16 overs and lost 4 more wickets.
Winning the toss Bangladesh batted first and once again the top order collapsed. They were 32 for 4, and then Mushfiqur and Mahmudullah put on 134 runs for the fifth wicket. Mushfiq scored 77 and Mahmudullah was not out at 82. Captain Mashrafe made a vital 39 runs of 25 balls which includes 2 big sixes. Bangladesh scored 256 for 8 in 50 overs which was a decent score. Zimbabwe started well, putting on 48 runs for the first wicket. But both the openers fell to Sakib Al Hasan. When Taylor and Mire was batting they had good chance but at last they lost another match. But still they can take a lot of positives to the fifth and final match of the ODI series on December 1 at the same venue. – News Desk
