Police seized 700 bottles of contraband Indian phensidyl syrup from a coal laden truck in Atapara area under Panchbibi Upazila of the district on Sunday.
A team of Panchbibi Police intercepted the Dhaka bound truck coming from Hili Land Port on Hili-Panchbibi Road and recovered the banned drug.The police arrested truck driver Feroz Hossain for carrying the drug.The police also seized the truck and filed a case in this regard with Panchbibi Police station. -BSS, Joypurhat
