At least 3 shops were gutted in a fire at Dakbangla market in Balagonj upazila District of Sylhet early Friday. Fire service sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit at a shop in Dakbangla Road area and soon engulfed the adjoining shops.On information, fire fighting units from Balagonj upazila rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after two hours of frantic effort. Balagonj Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), Balagonj Upazila Parishad Chairman visited the spot and assured the victims of providing possible help.Sylhet Correspondent
