Police recovered hanging body of an elderly man at Shiala Colony in Chapainawabganj municipality area on Wednesday morning.The deceased was identified as Lokman Ali, 50, son of Kalimuddin, a resident of Chapainawabganj town.
Being informed, a team of police went to the spot and recovered the body of Lokman, said Officer-in-charge of Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station Golam Sarwar.Police suspected some miscreants might have killed Lokman following family and land related dispute and hang the body with a tree.The body was sent to Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy. -UNB, Chapainawabganj
