Ten people were injured in an attack allegedly by smugglers in Rudropur border area of Sharsha upazila in Jessore on Sunday night.
Five of the injured were identified as — Asmat Khan, 38, Shahajan Ali, 34, Kamruzzaman, 33, Shawkat Ali, 32 and Jalal uddin, 35, all residents of the village.Enamul Haque, officer-in-charge of Sharsha Police Station, said a gang of smugglers attacked the youth over establishing supremacy in the area at night, leaving ten injured.
The injured were admitted to Sharsha Upazila Health Complex. – UNB
