Members of Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested a leader of Jamaat-e-Islami from Abdul Mannan Sentu Market area in the district town this noon.The arrestee was M Enamul Haque, 49, a member of the district executive committee of Jamaat-e-Islami and son of Mohiuddin Mollah of Hospital Road area of the town.
Police arrested Enamul on charge of subversive activities, said Inspector of DB police Hamidur Rashid.(BSS)
