Dhaka, Dec 30 – The BD government has carried out a reshuffle in the civil bureaucracy by promoting nine additional secretaries to the post of secretary and grade-1 and transfer three secretaries in different ministries and division yesterday. Of them, secretary of Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Kamrun Nahar has been transferred as information secretary and secretary of religious affairs ministry Md. Anisur Rahman was made secretary of energy and mineral resources division while Secretary of Health Education and Family Welfare Division of health ministry Sheikh Yusuf Harun has been transferred as secretary of public administration secretary.
Meanwhile, nine additional secretaries have been promoted to the post of the secretary and grade-1 and they were posted in different ministries and divisions yesterday.
Of them, Additional Secretary ( Admin Wing ) of Local Government Division Md. Mahbub Hossain has been transferred as secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division and Additional Secretary (Audit & Law) of Technical and Madrasah Education Division of Ministry of Education Rawnak Mahmud was made secretary of ministry of fisheries and livestock while chairman of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK) Dr Sultan Ahmed has been transferred as secretary of power division.
Additional Secretary and Director General (DG) of Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU) of IME Division Md. Ali Noor has been transferred as secretary of Health Education and Family Welfare Division of the health ministry and Divisional Commissioner of Dhaka Division Mohammad Jainul Bari was made secretary of social welfare ministry while additional secretary of Public Security Division Md Nurul Islam was made secretary of religious affairs ministry.
Additional Secretary of Public Division of Bangabhaban Md. Wahidul Islam Khan has been promoted to the post of the acting secretary and attached him at the Public Division of Bangabhaban.
On the other hand, additional secretary of finance division Tahmina Begum and Director General of Department of Youth Development Farouqe Ahmed has been promoted to the post of grade-1 and attached to the ministry of public administration. – Staff Reporter
