AFC greets BFF President Salahuddin

Dhaka  – The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has  congratulated Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin for being elected President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) for the 3rd consecutive term. The congratulation was conveyed in a message sent by the AFC secretary general on Wednesday.Meanwhile, All India Football Federation, Qatar Football Federation, Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA), BGMEA, Uttara Baridhara Club, Bangladesh Boys Club and BRTC Sporting Club also greeted Salahuddin for his feat and hoped the Salahuddin-led committee will take the Bangladesh football to a new height.The Salahuddin won the BFF polls held on April 30 at Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel defeating lone rival Kamrul Ashraf Khan, MP, by 33 votes. His panel swept the BFF election securing 17 posts out of 21, including president, senior vice-president, three vice-president and 12 executive committee members. (UNB)
