Dhaka– Bangladesh has been placed in Group B of the eight-team final round of the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship to be held in Chonburi, Thailand in September 10-23.The grouping of the prestigious AFC Under-16 Women’s Championship was finalised today at AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.DRP Korea, Japan and Australia are the other teams in Group B while Group A team comprises China, South Korea, Laos and hosts Thailand.The competition also serves as the qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Uruguay 2018, with the top three ranked teams at this year’s AFC U-16 Women’s Championship going on to represent Asia.
