Dhaka – A hat-trick on Tuesday by Mohammad Afroz helped East End Club to beat Shantinagar Club by 3-1 goals in the Dhaka Metropolis Second Division Football League at Bir Shrestha Shaheed Shipahi M Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur.
Mohammad Afroz made the hat-trick scoring all the three goals for East End Club while Mohammad Sufol Islam netted the lone goal for Shantinagar Club.
Mohammad Sufol put Shantinagar Club ahead in the 10th minute of the match (1-1).
East End Club tried hard to comeback in the match and took its fruit in the 45th minute as Mohammad Afroz leveled the margin (1-1).
After a 1-1 in the first half, Afroz put East End Club ahead from behind scoring his 2nd goal in the 51st minute (2-1) and sealed the fate of the match scoring his and the 3rd goal for East End Club (3-0) in the stoppage time (91 minute).
